Anyone who has spent much time in our home knows that it is sadly void of family pictures. People comment to me all the time that I, “must have so many beautiful pictures of your children.” The truth is, however, that they are typical photographer’s kids who are so overly photographed that they hate having their pictures taken. Things had to change, though, so I asked Melissa if she would be willing to do a family photo swap with me. I have been a fan of her talent for a long time and was so happy when she agreed to shoot our family and let me shoot hers.
Melissa asked me if I’d be ok with doing her session in downtown Eliz. City, and I’m so glad we did because I think the urban vibe suited the pictures perfectly. Her adorable daughter Miss E took a little while to warm up to things, but once she did, I got smiles for miles.
Melissa, thank you so much for sharing your gift with our family and for entrusting me to capture your and Miss E. I had a wonderful time shooting these and hanging out and getting to know you guys better!!
Ally - I love this mother-daughter session!
