If you are considering booking a session with Photography In the Light, here is some pricing information you need to know.
As a new client, your investment for a custom portrait session is $250.00.
An initial deposit of $75.00 is due to reserve your booking date. This deposit is non-refundable, except in the case of an emergency. When you schedule your session, we will also pick a backup/rain date in case of inclement weather. You will mail this deposit to me, and upon receipt , I will reserve the date you have requested. The remaining $175.00 balance is due the day of the session.
The $250.00 package includes a 1-2 hour session at the location of your choice. There will be appx. 25-35 images from your session (psst….sometimes it’s A LOT more than that) that will be delivered to you on disc in appx. 2 weeks time. These images are non-copyrighted, hi-resolution .jpeg files that can be printed at the location of your choice.
We greatly value our clients who have entrusted us to capture their precious memories time and time again. If you are a returning client, your session fee is $175.00.
An initial deposit of $50.00 is due to reserve your booking date. This deposit is non-refundable, except in the case of an emergency. When you schedule the session, we will also pick a backup/rain date in case of inclement weather. You will mail this deposit to me, and upon receipt, I will reserve the date you have requested. The remaining $125.00 balance is due the day of the session.
I LOVE shooting weddings, love, love, love it! If you are interested in booking a wedding with Photography In the Light, please contact me for special wedding pricing. As a reference point, weddings start at $500.00 for a very bare bones package, and go up to $2500.00 for a package that includes engagement, bridal, and the actual ceremony. The average wedding client spends about $1500.00 to have Photography In the Light preserve the memories from their special day.
A LITTLE MORE INFORMATION FOR YOU:
- At Photography In the Light we LOVE large families. Family sessions, however, are for groups of up to 6 people. If you have more people in your group, there is an extra fee of 10.00 per person. It takes extra time to photograph and edit large groups. Please be sure to let us know if you have a large group, as it effects the time and location of your session.
- All outdoor session take place 1-2 hours before sunset. There are exceptions to this, of course, but the ideal time to do outdoor photography is in the evening. If you need to do your session in the morning or afternoon, be sure to let me know right off the bat, because there are some locations that are not suitable for shooting in the bright sun. Portrait sessions are at the location of your choice, within a 20 mile radius of Elizabeth City, NC. If you want a session in a location that is outside that radius, there will be an extra fee for gas and time. Beach sessions, for instance are an additional 40.00.
- During your session, you can have an unlimited number of outfit and prop changes. When you book your session, we will begin talking about what kind of “feel” you want your session to have. This will help dictate what type of props and clothing we will use for your session.
- Each and every one of the final images you receive will be lovingly edited to perfection. Images that I feel benefit from a black and white or vintage-y conversion will be edited as thus. A “plain” edit will also be included with all B&W and vintage edited images. Please do not reedit your pictures on your own. If there is an image that I did not convert to B&W that you want converted, please just let me know and I will reedit it and email it back you to.
