It’s been awhile since I did a sewing post, so I thought i’d share this little dress with you. I found the fabric on a vintage ladies skirt from the Goodwill and as soon as I saw it, I knew it’d be a perfect match for this pattern. This dress has a bunch of options included in the pattern, including long sleeves, a little tie that goes under the collar, and a tunic length. It goes all the way from 12 mos to size 12, so it’s definitely going to be a keeper for us. The dress came together really easily. It took me about two hours to sew it with a lot of kid interruptions along the way. You can purchase the pattern on etsy, at https://www.etsy.com/listing/166486342/the-norah-dress-and-tunic-pdf-sewing?ref=shop_home_active_1.
The dress is a simple A-line shape with an optional peter pan collar. This was my first time in years doing a collar or sleeves and it came together really easily.
The back of the dress has an easy to sew keyhole opening with a loop and button closure. No zippers or button holes!
