Family photo sessions are my bread and butter. I probably shoot 10 family sessions for every other kind of session I do. Not complaining, it’s just hard sometimes to make each one feel new and fresh. One of the things I love about shooting new clients and new locations is that it makes an otherwise “typical” family session an extra-special event. When Sarah asked me if I would be willing to shoot at her family home, I immediately jumped on board. She expressed concern about lighting issues, but I was excited for the challenge of something and somewhere new.
When I arrived at her house out in the country, it was a feast for the eyes. Gorgeous wooded trails, an adorable fruit orchard, and incredible gold light pouring through the trees were a dream come true. Add in a blue eyed baby boy and his lovely mamma and daddy, and I knew we were going to get some great shots in the hour we spent together.
Lorenda Dyson - Wow! You are all so photogenic. What a great photographer, and what an ADORABLE little boy. Benjamin you probably don’t remember me, but it is great to see how beautifully you have grown up. And I hope to meet Sarah and your son Garland. I pray for a beautiful path together for the three of you with God’s richest blessings.
