Family pictures. Love em or hate em, it is so important to take the time to document the seasons of our families growing and changing. I think a lot of the time, and I speak for myself, we moms just dont like to be in front of the camera. We all know we’re our own worst critics, and I know I always shy away from getting in front of the camera because I usually don’t like pictures of myself. I think that it is such an important thing, though, to take the time and spend the money to have pictures taken of our families. As much as we tend to loathe seeing ourselves on film, we have to remember that it is a gift to our children to have pictures of their parents to cherish for a lifetime. I am so honored to have the privilege to shoot families like this one, the Jones’. I have known this family for over 13 years and if there is one thing I can say for sure about them, it is that family means everything to them. These children are not going to grow up wondering what true love or committed marriage looks like. They’re not going to wonder what it looks like to love God and serve Him as a family. Jason and Allison are as solid as it gets and being able to spend time with them and see the beautiful dynamic that exists in this family is a sweet gift. I am so indebted to the way they have shaped my own views on parenting and family. Every time I get a chance to shoot this family, I walk away a better person than I was when I started. I hope you guys enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoy the family in them! Love you guys, Jones family!!!
