Once upon a time our family met this really cool family when we were stationed together in Hawai’i. The two families had a lot of fun playing on the beach other, eating together, and enjoying the piece of paradise they were so fortunate to habituate. There were far fewer kids involved back then, and although their hangout times were more mellow, they were no less delightful. 4 years passed, and the two families were stationed many miles apart. Through the years, children were born, residences were changed, but the two families fondly reminisced about the “good old days” traipsing through their tropical trails. As it would go, the two families ended up being stationed near each other again, and after a 5 hour drive, they had a happy reunion with 4 more children, a few more grey hairs, and one of them had lost all their hair altogether. A wonderful day of catching up, eating good food, and watching the kids become fast friends ensued and we finished it up with a perfect photo session at the riverside.
